    Anticipated Vacancy – High School Principal (Grades 9-12)

    Outstanding administrative candidates are encouraged to apply for the Principalship of Lowville High School.  Seeking an administrative leader who possesses an exceptional academic background, appropriate administrative training, and outstanding instructional and communication skills to effectively lead a school of 380 students. 

    This position functions as part of a district leadership team that includes a strong teaching and administrative staff, supportive community and established Board of Education. Teaching and/or administrative experience at the secondary level preferred with NYS School Building Leader, School District Leader or equivalent certification required.

    Athletic Director

    Lowville Central School is seeking a District Athletic Director who will be responsible for the overall coordination and management of the district’s interscholastic athletic and physical education programs.  The athletic director will work with all student-athletes, coaches, staff, administrators and parents in establishing a sound and age-appropriate educational learning experience for student-athletes.  The athletic director develops, manages and supervises the school’s physical education and athletic programs, including budgeting, scheduling, facility management, coaching staff management, and ensuring compliance with athletic rules. 

    This full-time twelve month position functions as part of a district leadership team that includes a strong teaching and administrative staff, supportive community and established Board of Education.

    NYS School Building Leader, School District Leader or equivalent certification required with NYS Physical Education certification, teaching and/or administrative experience at the secondary level preferred.
